				   Summary:
Independent (1099) Sales Representatives receive up to 50% commissions on gross sales with flexible hours and the opportunity to 
				  work from home. All contractors who work from home are 
				  responsible for their own computer equipment and communication 
				  services. This position does offer a draw against commissions 
				  option 
				  if you are willing to work in the office and be located in 
				  Cedar Rapids IA. To

				  Who Is Lawchek:Lawcheck™ 
				  has been providing legal information services to the libraries for 
				  over 30 years. Lawchek was introduced to libraries back in the 
				  1990's through a partnership with Macmillan Publishing and

				  forms and help desk information to be distributed to libraries 
				  through an early form of electronic publications. This service 
				  became an early adaptor of online services and expanded to

				  Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals who want the freedom to be their own boss as an Independent Sales Contractor and are committed to drive company sales by managing customer relationships of existing 
				  legal professionals, recapturing previous legal professional, and finding new customers through cold-calling, emailing, and social media networking. Independent Sales Contractors should be able to network and implement effective sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas. To be successful, Independent Sales Contractors should be committed to achieving sales goals with minimal supervision.
				  
  
				  
				   
				  This is an entirely commission-based position with an initial draw against commissions 
				  for the first 90 days if working in office and unlimited earning potential. Income is directly proportional to sales revenue generated. Part-time effort yields a yearly potential of $25,000.00 - $35,000.00. Full-time effort yields a yearly potential of $30,000.00 - $65,000.00.

				  Responsibilities: 
				  
· Persuading previous clients to rejoin the new services.
· Identifying potential customers through networking and following leads.
				  
· Arranging online meetings with potential and existing customers to present products.
				  
· Persuading customers to purchase products by highlighting product benefits and key features.
				  
· Building and maintaining solid working relationships with both new and existing customers.
				  
· Negotiating pricing to encourage purchases.
· Completing the necessary order forms to submit to accounting and complete the sale.
				  
· Addressing customer concerns and resolving complaints.
 
				  
				   
				  Requirements: 
				  
· Experience with B2B phone sales - 5yrs preferred / 2yrs required
				  
· Ability to work independently
· Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Effective communication skills
· Exceptional customer service skills

				  About Us:
Founded in 1994, LAWCHEK™, was designed to assist law offices and library 
				  patrons. It was anticipated that people looking for 
				  information would begin in a library. In 1991, a study of 
				  reference librarians throughout the United States was 
				  commissioned by the American Library Association for the 
				  purpose of determining the most problematic area for the 
				  reference desk of a typical library. It was found that 
				  approximately seventeen percent of the library patrons 
				  encountered difficulty accessing legal information mostly due 
				  to the fact that the legal system of reference and information 
				  is uniquely designed for attorneys and the judiciary. LAWCHEK™ 
				  was clearly a product that could fill a need to connect 
				  clients with legal questions to practicing Attorneys in their 
				  location.
				   
				  In 1994, LAWCHEK™ was incorporated after most of the design 
				  work had been completed. Today, approximately twenty million 
				  library patrons have access to the LAWCHEK™ system.
